Not Mildred

Well, it's official - it's a BOY! Who'd have thunk it.
I was convinced it was a girl & had a name picked out (Matilda) so now we have to re-think. We're both dead excited.

George or Mildred?

For those of you that want to guess at the gender of baby Sherratt, here'a a few clues. We might find out Thursday...
* I have had no morning sickness at all
* The heart rate last ultrasound was 158/minute
* I hung my wedding ring over my belly and it went in circles, not side-to-side
* I was 36 when she/he was conceived (last October) and I will be 37 on the due date
* I have no cravings but can't stand the smell/taste of coffee
Good luck guessing. I think it's a girl. Craig says boy.

Monkeys & Socks

Started putting the nursery together. Going for an animal theme with lots of monkeys! Look at these socks we bought - how cute!!!!
Got the next ultrasound this Thursday & might find out if it's a "George" or "Mildred".......

Recent Travels

While Craig's been holding the fort at home, I've been travelling to turf conferences the last two weeks. Went to Richmond, Virginia then Orlando, Florida last week. Stayed on the Disney complex at the Coronado Springs Hotel, which was great. It was about 40 degrees warmer than Ohio too. Went to "Downtown Disney" one night for a non-alcaholic cocktail in the Rainforest Cafe. Didn't see any allligators but did see lots of palm trees & sunshine. Marvelous to be home though...

Buckeyes win the Fiesta Bowl

We went to Matt & Gina's house last night to watch the Ohio State Buckeyes beat the fighting Irish (Notre Dame) in the Fiesta Bowl. Buckeyes were great and won 34-20.
Back to work today which is a bit depressing, particularly as it's raining & gloomy!

Happy New Year!

Did a "progressive" party, where we started at our house for cocktails, then went to Eric's for soup, Jan's for dinner and Richard's for desert & champagne, where we watched the ball drop at Time Square. Sucks being sober on New Years eve but Craig drank for two, bless him.
Going to TJs diner now for a greasy-spoon breakfast!
