Friendly Visit

Here's a pic of Craig & his mate, Rodney who came to see us this weekend. Rodney used to work with Craig but now lives back in his native West Virginia. He's a great guy and it's always fun times when he visits - Craig got to bed at 1am and had to be up for work at 6am - we never learn do we....

Birthday Boys

We went to two birthday parties this weekend - one for Matt, who turned 30 (pictured with his missus, Gina), and one for Alex who was 1 (pictured with proud parents Agnieszka & Mike). Good news was, beer and cake was served at both!

The Big Fella at 7 Weeks

Here's 3 pictures of Jack the lad; one taken with the doctor that delivered him (Sarah) during my docs visit today, at the Buckeye Stadium last night at the practice (can't believe 28,000 people showed up - nuts!), and one taken during his bath tonight. Is it just me or is he a handsome young chap???

Camping Calamity

We went camping this weekend to Shawnee State Park & it was a disaster!

When we got to the campsite it was 95 degree muggy weather, tons of mosquitos, strange animal noises outside the tent at night..... finally we admitted to each other we were miserable, packed up & came home early.

We came home to a cool house, drank wine & watched a good old scary movie (The Hill Have Eyes) - perfect!

Tin Anniversary

Well mum has now gone home after 6 weeks and I miss her terribly. She helped a lot. We managed to take her to Char & Jan's cabin (see pic) & the state fair so at least she saw something other than me & Jack.

Next here is Craig's mum and dad on the 1st Sept. for 4 weeks. Looking forward to seeing them both.

This week it's mine & Craig's 10th wedding anniversary so we are taking Cody & Jack and going camping. Hopefully Jack will like it and not scream bloody murder all over the campsite!

First Day in Pants!

Here's a picture of Jack on the first day he wore pants! Not exactly a momentous occasion but he does look damn cute so had to take a picture.

Craig's gone white-water rafting so me & mum are lounging around, eating ice cream and watching movies.

Football Game was Even

Well I think the 1-1 Everton- Columbus Crew was a good score. Everybody was happy in the end.
A couple of Engish fans were typically idiotic, like running on the pitch and fighting with Liverpool fans - how did that happen here in Columbus??? - but overall it was a good game & Jack slept through the whole thing.

Met EFC Tonight!

Everton Football Club (my team) are in town to pay Columbus Crew tomorrow night. Craig took me & mum to the stadium where we met with our mate Matt (Head Groundsman). After the practice I got my pictures taken with the manager, David Moyes, goalie Tim Howard & forward James Beattie. How exciting!! One of the trainers gave Jack a scarf too. Added bonus - Brandy Chastain was there and talked with me about babies (she just gave birth 6 weeks ago) - she's far right in the Tim Howard picture. What a treat for me - I've been an Everton fan for years and never thought I'd get so close!

What a Fortnight!

Well, what a fortnight we've had..
We are still just trying to figure the little lad out and are basically making up parenthood as we go along. Too soon we spoke about how chilled out he was as we have found out he has a fair set of lungs on him!
Craig goes back to work tomorrow, which I am very sad about. We've had such a lovely time together since Jack was born. My mum's here to help out though so it's not too daunting.
Mum and Craig are currently out on a kebab hunt while I feed Jack.
