I really want Jack to call me "mummy" and not "mommy". I'm not sure why it's so important to me but it just is. I was trying to tell him this morning that as a Christmas present I would love it if he called me mummy. It went something like this:
Me: "Jack, do you know what mummy would like more than anything this Christmas?"
Jack: "Chocolate?"

This is one very smart child.
when my kids were little they called me Mammy. It's a N.E. England thing. It sounds completely weird now.
Reminds me of Al Jolson LOL
:-)
I just wish Harper would stop saying, "Mo-om" like a disgruntled teenager. I miss the mommy days!!!
Just wait until he starts calling you Pam!
Hi Clippy: I like "mammy" - sounds like a Geordie mum
Kelsey: Your daughter is a comic genius and I'm sure she's got lots up her sleeve for you in life!
Hey Anne: My mum's name was Ethel and she hated it. When we were naughty, my sister and I would call her Ethel and she'd go nuts. It didn't help that our local crazy person who had 10 cats and walked around mumbling to herself was also called Ethel!
Pam, face it; even toddlers instinctively know what any woman wants. ;-)
