Last Thursday Jack joined a family we know from school for a day out at the local water park. He went without sunscreen for 8 hours on a blinding hot, sunny day. I did send him with factor 50 sun cream and strict instructions but he obviously ignored me. The mum who took him was mortified when she dropped him off but I'm really surprised she didn't put it on him all day. Surely I'm not unique that I smother my kids (and anyone else's kid in range) with factor 50 every hour?
