Picture of Baby

Here's the ultrasound picture from today. She/he is now 5cm (2 inches) long and got all the right bits & pieces. She/he was doing some real wriggling about and at one point even crossed legs!
Hearbeat was 158 beats per minute & all is well.
We are absolutely elated...

Back to Work

We started working on the house again today. Craig's remodelling the downstairs bathroom & I'm stripping the last of the nasty wallpaper from the stairs & games room. Found bright pink walls underneath as you can see. Lovely!

Merry Christmas!

We had a lazy, wondeful day. Rang family in England then felt a tad homesick. We watched lots of films - 40 yr old virgin, Exorcism of Emily Rose, Crash etc. Craig drank himself sober & I had a nifty Baileys, then felt guilty & drank 4 pints of water. Got the first baby gifts & Eric bought us some cool baby cowboy boots.

Christmas Parties

2 days till Christmas
5 days till ultrasound
10 days till we thrash the Irish

Went to Jia & Lou's house for another Christmas bash last night. Going to leave work shortly and go shopping.

Been listening to Chris Moyles on Radio 1 on my new Sirius satellite radio and he's been playing lots of Bing, so I'm truly in a festive mood!

Record Cold in Ohio

5 days till Christmas
8 days till our next ultrasound
13 days till we beat Notre Dame

Here's a picture of Cody looking rather guilty after being caught under the tree sniffing for his presents.
It's the 4th coldest December on record in Ohio and the heat has broken down in my office at work, so may have to bugger off home shortly........

Christmas is Coming

Only 6 days till Christmas! Chrissy tree is up and presents been shipped off to England. Got the turkey & even found a Birds Trifle - yummy.
It's been snowing off & on for a few weeks now and feeling very festive. It's also bloody cold though & forecast for 7ºF (-14ºC) tonight. This picture was taken last night when we got back from Char & Jan's party.

Visit from Denmark

Just had our big turf conference in Columbus. One of the speakers, Chris, is a friend from Preston that now looks after Denmark's national stadium pitch. It was great to see him & hear a bit of northern humour.
